Dog Paw, Onomatopoeia and Crunch

Takes me an infuriating amount of time to draw one thing; HOWEVER, I have fun throughout the whole process. Making a fantasy-imbued anatomical dog arm and “hand” takes building that anatomical base and exaggerating the joints to a fun proportion. When I get too fantastical and further from anatomical, it’s nice to “redo” or take that fantastical lineart, then ground it back into an anatomical base to give that fantastical a nice extension from reality instead of just breaking it to cover up my in-need-of-anatomy practice.
Will this slow everything down? Yes. But it’s also still teaching myself art while pushing towards a product down the line. The more I practice, the faster I get.
